I haven’t given the game a chance, but I have friends who enjoy the game.  It is a all out battle royal apparently.  You’re thrown into a map and need to try and be the last one standing, whether you team up or go at it along, the goal is to be the only one left on the map.

Recently an article came out discussing parents getting tutors or coaches for their kids to get better.  Parents are getting tutors to get better at video games…Yup this is the world we live in.  I feel so old saying this, but what happened to kids going outside and playing…I can remember trampoline battle royals very well.  Sure, I played my share of video games, but I cannot imagine the look on my dads face if I were to have asked about a tutor so I could be my neighbor in Goldeneye.

What’s my point, video games are fun.  They can also be great entertainment for a group of friends, but kids should still be getting tutored for the piano, guitar, etc.  Not Fortnite.
