90s rockers Third Eye Blind are set to hit the road this summer. They’ve armed themselves with an impressive arsenal of hits. The San Fransisco-based band announced plans to perform their self-titled debut album in its entirety on the tour, to celebrate it’s 20th anniversary. Third Eye Blind, the album, features crowd-pleasing favorites like ‘Losing A Whole Year’ and ‘How’s It Going to Be.’
Third Eye Blind caught the attention of many last summer after performing in Cleveland during the Republican National Convention. Frontman Stephan Jenkins used the performance to more or less express his displeasure with convention attendees. With this announcement, fans can expect a different experience this summer. Alternative rock band Silversun Pickups will accompany 3EB for the tour.
Fans in mid-Michigan who want to attend have plenty of chances to do so. Most notably, the tour makes a stop at DTE Energy Music Theater in metro-Detroit on Friday, July 7th. Stops in Cleveland and Indianapolis proceed the Detroit date, and stops in Toronto and Chicago precede it.
