We may now know why getting their daughters into the University of Southern California was so important to Lori Loughlin [[LOCK-lin]] and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Gianulli. But more on that in a minute. There are new reports that “one of their daughters” may have known more than anyone let on.
Britain’s “Daily Mail” is reporting that “a daughter” is now the target of a federal investigation related to the “Varsity Blues” scandal. But “The Daily Beast” take it a step further and calls out Isabella (aka Bella) Gianulli, specifically. The timing of that ominous report is interesting news came to light about the same time that she deleted her Instagram account.
As for the importance of getting the girls admission to U-S-C, it’s being reported that Gianulli actually lied to his parents about getting into the school. In fact, it’s being alleged that he took their tuition payments to start his company. Gianulli reportedly made the comments during an interview in 2016 and his daughter, Olivia Jade, alluded to the story on a podcast just days before the college cheating scandal broke.
- As we’ve ben telling you, prosecutors say Loughlin and Giannulli paid 500-thousand-dollars in bribes to get their kids into the California university. The couple has pleaded not guilty in the case and face significant prison time if fully convicted.
