The Mid Michigan Aquatic Recreational Authority, who put the Aquatic Center on the ballot for a bond proposal, said prior to primary day, there were going to disband after completing the work they set out to do. The bond failed by 73% saying no to it. It now leaves any other future endeavors to bring a public pool complex to Mt. Pleasant, up to others.
