Jake Borton, the director of the Isabella County Material Recovery Facility, says he’s been searching for the past (9) months to find a part-time driver for the facility, to no avail. Borton has now eliminated that position in favor of a full-time education/grant writing & reporting coordinator. It’ll cost the county just over $21,000 to fill the new position.
