Sarah Mora was sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder in the death of her fiancé Thomas Mendoza last summer. Mora said she wanted to ease Mendoza’s pain and reunite him with his mother. Gratiot County Circuit Court Judge Randy Tahvonen called the crime “the most self-centered, arrogant decision” that he had ever seen in almost 40 years as a judge.
