Alma Mayor Greg Mapes is expected to provide an update on the halting of the search for a new police chief at Tuesday’s city commission meeting. The commission meets at 6:00PM in the Alma Municipal Building. The subcommittee investigating the hiring practice met on May 15th and interviewed four people related to the investigation.
