The suspect in the Central Michigan University deadly shooting has been caught.

The Isabella County Central Dispatch says James Davis Jr. is in custody. According to CMU, he was seen by someone riding the train through the north end of campus shortly after midnight, between Nelson & Island Parks.

The tip lead to his arrest without incident.

Police say he is the person who killed two people in Campbell Hall Friday morning.

Investigators say it started as a domestic situation on the fourth floor of the hall.

Central Michigan University says he killed his father, James Davis Sr., a police officer in Bellwood, Illinois, and his mother, Diva Davis.

MSP says he used his father’s gun.

Schools were all put on lockdown since the shooting first happened around 9 a.m.

CMU has cancelled all classes that they would have had for Saturday.
