• Keanu Reeves was on a flight to Los Angeles that made an emergency landing
  • He and the other passengers ended up taking a van together to their destination
  • They bonded along the way

Some lucky fans got to go on an “excellent adventure” with Keanu Reeves over the weekend – but for a not-so-excellent reason. When a United Flight from San Francisco, California to Los Angeles ended up making an emergency landing in Bakersfield, the actor stepped up to help his fellow passengers figure out how they’d be getting to their final destination.

They all ended up taking a van together, bonding along the way. According to several social media posts documenting the experience, Keanu provided some entertainment by jokingly reading facts about Bakersfield, played some “Bakersfield sound” hits from the 1950s from his phone, and even joined the passengers as they stopped for a bite at Carl’s Jr.

“When your flight almost crashes and you have to emergency land in a remote airport but at least Keanu Reeves is having as bad a day as you are,” writes one tweeter. “I mean, near death experience followed by fans annoying you for pictures. Doesn’t get much worse.”
