Yesterday, we reported that magician David Blaine was accused of sexual assault by two different women. Now, he’s denying the claims, although he will cooperate with the ongoing investigation by the New York Police Department.
“David denies the accusations that have been reported and he takes these allegations seriously,” a spokesperson for the magician writes in a statement. “He intends to cooperate with any investigation.”
The statement comes on the heels of the confirmation that there’s an “active” probe of the alleged incidents dating back 20 years or so. It’s unclear if Blaine has hired a lawyer.
