Mt. Pleasant is suspending enforcement of its three-hour parking rules in downtown. The decision comes after a federal appeals court ruling that found that chalking tires is an unconstitutional search. Business owners and downtown employees are asked to refrain from parking in spaces intended for three-hour parking for customers.
