Thanks to a bond proposal passing in 2015, a new elementary school is headed for the Chippewa Hills School District. A brand new Barryton Elementary school will be built right behind the current elementary school. Ground was broken Tuesday. Weidman and Mecosta Elementaries are getting renovations and additions as well.
