The state of Michigan has released a new health plan for mothers and infants in the state. The Mother Infant Health and Equity Improvement Plan focuses on six major topics. These include equal health treatment, optimal birth spaces and safe sleeping for babies. The plan also wants to fix issues like housing, racial inequalities and access to family planning.
