A Mt. Pleasant man accused of raping the child of a former romantic partner will spend at least 18 years in prison as part of a plea deal he reached with prosecutors. 39 year old Eric Steven McVeigh, plead no-contest to (1) count of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct with a relation. (5) additional charges, including (2) for (1st) degree criminal sexual conduct with a defendant younger than 13, were dismissed!
