Evening storms last night rolled through Central Michigan. The storms caused down power lines, uprooted trees that blocked may roads, and even some power outages were reported. Shepherd has about 1,000 residents without power. Consumers Energy says power should be restored to the outage areas by 2:30 this afternoon.
