A man from Whittemore said he placed pipe bombs outside two phone stores because he was upset with “immoral content” on phones and cable TV. Authorities say John D. Allen placed the makeshift bombs and threatening notes at Verizon and AT&T stores in Cheboygan and Sault Ste. Marie.
