A Freeland woman was convicted earlier this week in connection with being aware of and taking part in sexually-abusing her (2) young daughters. 41-year-old Natasha Swerdan was convicted by a Midland County jury of (2) counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct & (2) counts of second-degree child abuse. Her then-boyfriend was also charged. The girls were between the ages of 6 & 10 at the time the abuse took place.
