Longtime Flint City Councilman, Eric Mays, has died. Mr. Mays passed away on Saturday at the age of 65. The 3rd term councilman was beloved for his bold & courageous service of Flint’s First Ward & his strong presence will be deeply missed. He wasn’t afraid to speak up & speak out. Karen Weaver, former Mayor of Flint said he wasn’t a perfect person, but he was passionate. Funeral arrangements are pending.
