As we previously told you, Lady Gaga is trying to get into the wine business, but apparently it’s hit a snag. Gaga recently filed legal documents to secure the names “Joanne Trattoria Vino Blanco” and “Joanne Trattoria Vino Rossa,” for a red and white wine, but her application has since been suspended.
It seems officials from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office have put a hold on the request because they feel her wine name will cause confusion with another company who already owns the rights to the term “Trattoria,” and their request for it came first.
