Five ball fields between Island Park and Pickens Field are set to see repairs along with Horizon Park. Damages to be fixed thanks to state relief funding and a $75,000 grant. About 8 months ago, flood water was flowing throughout the parks and even rising above the ball field dugouts. They plan to restore 400 acres of park land and ball fields.
