Free packages of naloxone will be available at participating Midland pharmacies during Free Naloxone Day on Saturday. The medication, also known as Narcan, can be used to counter the effects of opioid overdose. Pick-up can be done anonymously, with no individual prescription needed, payment or insurance required or name required.
