A 23-year-old Augusta man charged in the Sept. 17 death of a 19-month-old girl has waived his right to a preliminary examination, and has been bound over to circuit court. The Midland News reports that Damian Garrett faces charges of felony-murder and child abuse in the first degree, stemming from his involvement in the death of 19-month-old Skylar Papple.
