Two businesses that open or expand in downtown Mt Pleasant, may be able to get a little help thanks to a local credit union. Lake Trust Credit Union approached the Mt Pleasant city Commission to help subsidize some rent for the first three months owners are in business. The Make It Mt Pleasant program is to help new businesses during their first year of operation.
