An Alma firefighter is fighting cancer for a second time. 65-year-old Brush will be receiving a stem cell transplant on Wednesday. He contracted Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), which affects the blood and bone marrow, in 2006 while undergoing treatment for another type of cancer.
