An unidentified male is dead after a shooting near the CMU campus. Mt Pleasant police confirmed the man died at the scene. CMU sent out a voicemail alerting students that a shooting occurred at Colony Apts, with the shooter still at large. Cops identified a person of interest & their speaking w/ witnesses – there’s no public risk. The name of the victim will be released pending notification of family.
