Mariah Carey just gave fans something else to look forward to this fall. The singer announced she’ll drop the album “The Rarities” on October 2nd, three days after she releases her memoir, “The Meaning of Mariah Carey.”
The two-disc album will feature 32 tracks, including “Save The Day,” a never-before released collaboration with Lauryn Hill, which will drop Friday. The album will also feature 17 live tracks from her Tokyo Dome concert on the 1996 “Daydream” tour.
The album is described as a “collection of personal favorites from her vault … celebrating Carey’s exceptional artistry and vision through hidden musical jewels from her personal archives.”
- “This one is for you, my fans,” Carey shared on Instagram alongside the album cover. “It’s to celebrate us, and to thank you for ? years of pure love and support.”
