R.I.S.E. Advocacy, formerly known as Women’s Aid Service, is piloting a Domestic Assault Response Team program in partnership with the Mt. Pleasant Police Department. The organization covers Isabella, Clare, and Gratiot counties. The program aims to bring advocacy and resources to survivors in tandem with law enforcement’s response.
