Community members are rallying around a Shepherd High School member and his family. Josh Morgan, a junior at Shepherd High School, was originally diagnosed with cancer in March of 2019 after a tumor was discovered in his brain. After surgeries, treatments and the return of tumors, Morgan has decided to stop treatments. A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise $2,400 to assist with expenses.
