Four sections of alleys in Mt Pleasant could soon get overlays. The overlays will protect the pavement for about 15 years before they need to be reconstructed. The alleys include:
- The block with Kinney on the west, Arnold on the east and Gaylord on the north.
- The block with Kinney on the west, Arnold on the east, Maple on the south and Locust on the north.
- The block with University on the west, Franklin on the east, Chippewa on the south and Lincoln on the north.
- The block with Pleasant on the west, Douglas on the east, May on the south and dead-ending into High Street on the north.
