A group home resident faces eight criminal charges after police say he attacked two direct care workers. 23-year-old Theodore Craven also assaulted police, and damaged property, including a police car. Craven destroyed his bedroom in the home on West Pickard in Mt Pleasant before ripping off the door handle and throwing it at a worker. When the worker tried calling 911, Craven ripped the phone out of her hand and smashed it. He was released from jail to his caregiver.
