The Isabella County Commission on Aging was forced to cancel several trips for seniors this year due to staffing issues. For over 40 years, the commission has held the day trips to Mackinac Island, theater events, Tigers games, the Tulip Festival and more. The Commission on Aging says, however, that they’re in the process of hiring a new person for the job, and when they do, the trips will resume.
