The Evart City Council has approved a $5,000 minimum licensing fee for medical marijuana facilities.

This comes a couple of weeks after the city of Evart approved an ordinance allowing the facilities.

The city approved four grow facilities, four processors, two provision licenses, two transportation licenses and two facility licenses.

Right now some facilities are in the process of getting licenses from the state, however facilities are not able to operate until December.
