Detroit Tigers rookie Michael Fulmer came close to cementing his name in the record books, taking a no-hitter into the 7th inning before ultimately giving up a hit in the Detroit Tigers 3-0 victory over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Wednesday night. Fulmer moves to 5-1 on the season with the win, and the Tigers snapped a nine-game losing streak in Anaheim. Victor Martinez, Ian Kinsler and Jarrod Saltalamacchia all drove in runs for Detroit.
