This fall, for the first time in 21 years, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band takes the stage at DTE Energy Music Theater in Clarkston. Seger announced the Saturday, September 9th, 2017 show on his website Thursday morning. DTE, formerly know as Pine Knob, and still referred to its former name by many locals, was a regular home for Seger and his band in the 70s and 80s.

The Bob Seger performance is one of many A-list shows DTE Energy Music Theater booked for summer and fall of 2017. Other notable acts include Eddie Money, Tom Petty, Third Eye Blind, and Foreigner with Cheap Trick.

Tickets for the show go on-sale at 10:00AM on Saturday, May 20th. Prices have yet to be announced. However, Seger announced a pre-sale for Silver Bullet Club members on Tuesday at 10:00AM. Premium members get a Pine Knob 2017 t-shirt, the upcoming “Greatest Hits” purple vinyl record and a Bullet Club laminate.

September’s performance will be the 27th for Bob Seger at Pine Knob. He last played the venue on June 21st, 1996. Seger last performed in metro-Detroit at the Palace of Auburn Hills in March of 2015. In addition, Seger joined Kid Rock for a performance of “All Summer Long” in 2013. Check out that video below, and get ready to rock out in metro-Detroit with a Michigan legend!
