Some teachers will do anything for their students, like William Wilkinson. He’s a technology teacher at Grace Christian Academy in Powder Springs, Georgia and when he learned that his student, 12-year-old Kaden Koebcke, needed a kidney, he got tested to be a donor.

Kaden has kidney disease and has been on dialysis since a kidney transplant he received when he was younger wasn’t successful and had to be removed. His family started a Kaden’s Kidney Search Facebook page last year to find a living donor and that’s when Wilkinson got tested and found out he was a match. They had the surgeries yesterday and are now recovering.

“There are no words to even begin to describe how this is making me feel for Will to give this amazing gift to my son,” says Cami Koebcke, Kaden’s mother. “There is no greater gift.”
