Looks like Riverdale won’t have to shell out millions for a water treatment facility. After more than two years of battling the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy on this matter, the agency has decided against it and offered an alternative plan that will allow residents to repair or replace individual failing septic systems.
