Isaiah Gary Gardenhire took a plea deal. He told an Isabella County judge on Monday afternoon that he would accept punishment for the murder of 13-year old Adrie Dembowske. As part of the plea deal, the count of open murder was amended to second—degree murder, which still carries a life sentence.
