We previously reported that longtime “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek shocked fans and fellow stars alike by revealing he’s been diagnosed with stage-4 pancreatic cancer. It’s been a month or so since his announcement, and he’s giving fans a health update.
In a video posted to Twitter, Alex thanks everyone again for the “continuing messages of encouragement,” saying he’s “touched beyond words” by the outpouring of support and “particularly the many cards I’ve received from young people.” For those wondering how Alex is doing health-wise, so far so good. “I’m feeling good, I’m continuing with my therapy,” he offers.
Like he said before, the cancer battle can’t pull him away from “Jeopardy!” The show just wrapped taping season their 35th anniversary season, and he says they’re “already working on the next season.” Check out his full message below.
