After a stabbing incident at the Wayside in Mt Pleasant last Saturday, the bar is beefing up security. Among the changes are the use of metal-detecting wands at every entrance, and staff are searching oversized bags. Wayside owner, John Hunter, said the changes were welcomed by patrons Tuesday night.
