John Krasinski made a young “Hamilton” fan’s day. On the second episode of his Some Good News YouTube show, he introduced us to Aubrey. The nine-year-old was supposed to see her favorite Broadway show in Jacksonville, Florida, but the coronavirus cancelled that.
John, along with his wife, Emily Blunt, coordinated a Zoom reunion of the original cast. Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Phillipa Soo,Christopher Jackson, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Okieriete Onaodowan, Jonathan Groff, and others from the original production showed up to sing the musical’s opening number, “Alexander Hamilton.”
