Johnny Depp is doubling down on his take on the altercation with his ex-wife Amber Heard that resulted in the tip of his finger being cut off. While Heard has claimed that the actor did it to himself by punching a wall, Depp insists in his newly-released deposition that she threw a vodka bottle at him which shattered and severed his finger.
Meanwhile, explosive audio has surfaced from the day of the finger-slicing incident. In a recording shared by “Daily Mail,” Depp’s doctors shout as they search through garbage and bloody debris looking for the actor’s fingertip. Heard can be heard sobbing in the background, before composing herself and suggesting they look through the trash.
That’s not all that happens in the audio, either. According to “Daily Mail,” Depp’s longtime head of security Jerry Judge notes that he thinks scratches seen on Heard’s body were “self-inflicted.” There are also mentions of Depp “wrecking the place,” with Judge saying he’s “never seen him this bad.”
