CMU now has a hand in the online viral community. In partnership with the American Chemical Society, Brad Fahlman from CMU’s Chemistry and Biochemistry Dept., created “The Chemistry of Hand Sanitizer and Soap Active Learning Activity,”. The interactive lesson has been distributed to about 20,000 high school and postsecondary chemistry instructors around the world.
