“Saturday Night Live” returned with bang this weekend with Jason Bateman as the host, and Morgan Wallen – who was scheduled for musical duty earlier this season – finally getting his chance to do just that.
One of the highlights of the evening was Eminem making a surprise appearance during a Christmas sketch that Pete Davidson did to his 2000 hit, “Stan.” Pete played Stu, an obsessed fan of Jason’s Santa Clause who writes him letters begging for a PlayStation 5. In Eminem’s original music video, Devon Sawa played Stan. Toward the end of the parody, Christmas sweater-clad Eminem briefly appears on the TV in Stu’s basement. He opens his gift from Santa — a PlayStation 5, which Stu desperately wanted. “I didn’t even ask for this. I guess Shady must have been a good boy this year,” he says. “Sorry, Stu. You f—-ed up.”
And as we told you, Morgan – who got the boot from Bill Burr’s episode over COVID concerns – participated in sketch about the situation.
