Multiple law enforcement agencies are searching for an 8-year-old girl who fell in the Flint River near McLaren Hospital on Sunday. Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson said this comes after dive teams recovered a 7-year-old boy’s body from the Flint River on Saturday. The child on Saturday wandered away near the river and drowned, which turned the rescue mission into a recovery. Sunday’s search started at Ballenger Highway and Sunset Boulevard.
