Bette Midler has once again proved she can dust her self off and move on after any stumble.
This time that stumble was an actual one as the actress took a tumble last night during the midway point of the Broadway show ‘Hello, Dolly!’ Audience members say the lights were turned off for about 15 minutes before the show resumed. The 71-year-old actress finished the performance and received multiple standing ovations after the show.
Midler tweeted after the performance that two set pieces collided and caused her to fall. She plays Dolly Gallagher Levi in the Broadway show.
