Deputies say they now know who stole items from a Clare County store last week.
Deputies were asking for the public’s help in identifying two men after they say Jay’s Sporting Goods in Clare reported several items missing Friday.
Monday they say a downstate man contacted them, identifying himself and his grandson as the two men in the picture.
The man says he found the stolen property, and will be returning it Tuesday.
The case now goes to the prosecutor for review.
