About us & history:
Christmas Outreach of Isabella County, a non-profit 501(c)(3), provides essential items for Isabella County residents in need for Christmas. It began in 1980 by a group of caring, compassionate community members to eliminate duplication and pool resources. It has grown to an amazing community affair. Today, it involves volunteers from all walks of life – young and old, scout troops, students from the local schools across the county, college students, sports teams, office teams, community groups, businesses, churches, and families. They come together to provide coats, hats, mittens, books, boots, bedding, linens, towels, Christmas items, bikes, Christmas trees, Christmas stockings and household items for those in need. It helps children learn at an early age what it means for neighbors to give to neighbors. Individuals and organizations give of their time and money so that everyone can have a brighter and warmer Christmas.
Last year in 2022, Christmas Outreach served 1,609 individuals representing 482 households. There were 395 men, 561 women, 333 boys and 320 girls. With the current economic state of high inflation, we expect to reach even more this year.
2020 we served: 1387 people – 429 families
2021 we served: 1342 people – 396 families
2022 we served: 1609 people – 482 families
Christmas Outreach is funded through generous donations from our community. We apply for grants, request individual donations, and ask local stores to contribute goods and funds. We need infant & kids coats and snow pants, adult coats sizes XS-5X for men & women, hats, mittens, scarves, children’s books for Pre-K – high school, boots for the whole family, and bedding including quilts, blankets, sheets and bath towels.
Christmas Outreach would be very grateful to receive the support from the community. Christmas will be here before we know it.
Christmas Outreach is successful because of the many volunteers who give time during set up, distribution and tear down.
If you would like to donate items, they can be dropped off at Morey Courts Dec 13 & 14 9am – 5pm before distribution.
Money donations can be mailed to our PO Box address:

We would like to thank all the volunteers and donations we have had over the years, we can’t do Christmas Outreach without the community coming together.
We are always looking for new or gently used Christmas trees. If you decide to upgrade your tree, Christmas Outreach would love to take your used tree. Guest are always in need of a tree for their family Christmas.
