Angela Hempel has been charged with open murder in the death of her father Leonard Hempel. James Kuhns, who was arrested on Monday along with Hempel has also been charged with murder in the case. Other family members have started a fundraising effort for the sons of Angela Hempel, who now live with an aunt near Detroit.
