The Great Lakes Loons fell 2-1 to the South Bend Cubs in a pitching duel Tuesday night at Dow Diamond. Victor Gonzalez allowed only two runs on five hits in five innings pitched, but his two surrendered runs were enough to be charged with the loss. Logan Landon scored the Loons’ lone RBI.
