Former CMU professor and Mt Pleasant Planning Commissioner Mark Ranzenberger is scheduled to appear at 9:30 am Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Bay City for a detention hearing. Ranzenberger is currently being held at the Bay County Law Enforcement Center on charges of child pornography possession. CMU Police have now turned the investigation over to the U.S. Secret Service entirely.
